Doug Evink will share information and data gathered by Tanis Aircraft Products from over 40 years of producing preheat systems. Tanis has been a leader in systems which protect our engines and other critical systems in what is often a very cold environment here in the frozen north.
Douglas (Doug) J. Evink is the CEO and Owner of Tanis Aircraft Products (www.tanisaircraft.com), the world’s leading manufacturer of preheat systems for the aviation industry. He grew up on a Southwestern Minnesota farm, graduated from Edgerton High School, Alexandria Technical College, where he received the Outstanding Student Award, and continued his education at Anoka Ramsey Community College and the University of Minnesota. Prior to joining Tanis, Evink was the President and Chief Operating Officer of the Palen Kimball Company. Palen Kimball Company is a mechanical contracting and calibration service company. He also held management positions with Johnson Controls and the Maytag Corporation. In addition to his professional career, Evink is active in the community and is on the board of Resource, Inc. and Minnesota Aviation Trades Association. He has also served on the boards of two private schools, CEO Roundtable, and on his church council. Doug enjoys hunting and fishing and supports causes that restore wetlands and provide more habitat for wildlife. He and his wife, Valma, reside in Arden Hills, Minnesota.
