Please join us for our 21st annual fly in and camping just before AirVenture begins! The New Holstein airport (8D1) is just across Lake Winnebago from Oshkosh WI. We celebrate aviation by enjoying camping, fine dining and flyouts beginning the Thursday, July 18, before AirVenture. We have built a pavilion for enjoying fantastic breakfasts and dinners and for simply enjoying other aviators company! We helped build a beautiful shower facility at the FBO, all to compliment a spacious, well manicured turf runway and asphalt runway. We enjoy aviation movie nights, popcorn and sitting around the campfire telling aviation stories and making new friends. Taildraggers park and camp under the wing of your airplane near the pavilion and Nosedraggers park on the ramp. We provide transportation to and from the ramp and FBO to the pavilion. On Sunday, July 21 we celebrate Airport Appreciation Day by helping sponsor the Young Eagles Rally and by providing a STOL demonstration! We schedule a bus to transport us over to Oshkosh to take in AirVenture on Monday, July 22. We have evening flyouts to visit Kelley’s Country Creamery, near Fondulac. Camping ends Tuesday morning, July 23, freeing you up to fly over to AirVenture!
