Our very own Gregg Strathy MD is taking some of the excellent lessons learned in aviation to the practice of medicine!  On September 21, 2013, Gregg will join retired airline pilot and former naval aviator Andrew Brown in Duluth Minnesota at the Essentia Health System to present “Transferring the Aviation Safety Culture to Medicine” at their Friday morning Grand Rounds.

There are many who have recognized the importance of applying things we practice regularly in aviation to the practice of medicine…cockpit resource management, checklists, etc.  Gregg has developed a program which he hopes will bring these effective techniques up front and center in medicine.
