The good news from AOPA leadership is that the Pilots Bill of Rights 2 now has 70 co-sponsors in the Senate (51 R, 18 D, 1 I). The bad news, and quite embarassing news for Minnesotans, is that neither Senator Klobuchar nor Senator Franken have signed onto the bill.

Please take a moment to call or write Senators Klobuchar or Franken and urge them to sign onto this bill, S.571.

In the House of Representatives 149 cosponsors have signed on (132 R, 17 D). We are pleased that Collin Peterson (D-MN7), Richard Nolan (D-MN), John Kline (R-MN2) and Erik Paulsen (R-MN3) have signed up. This leaves Tim Walz (D-MN1), Betty McCollum (D-MN4), Keith Ellison (D-MN5) and Tom Emmer (R-MN6) as those who need to be urged to support H.R. 1062, the House version of the PBR2.
