The Minnesota Pilots Association is proud to announce that the Internal Revenue Service has deemed it to be a public charity with tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code. Contributions to the Minnesota Pilots Association are fully tax-deductible retroactive to the founding of the organization on April 3, 2013. Minnesota Pilots Association is also now eligible to apply for government and foundation grants, which will further broaden its access to resources and strengthen its ability to support general aviation in Minnesota.

This opens many doors for us to expand fundraising activities and fully realize our goals to promote and protect general aviation in Minnesota. In doing so, we hope to support Minnesota pilots and airports, raise awareness the benefits of general aviation, and inspire youth to pursue flying or other aviation vocations.
