The first day of the Great Minnesota Aviation Gathering is now behind us, and we are looking forward to another great day of celebrating aviation in Minnesota.  The weather today was less than ideal, but we had over 250 people in attendance.  The Hangar Flying sessions won rave reviews, the Exhibitors were exceptional and you really can’t beat the venue…the Golden Wings Museum!  Many thanks to those who spoke today, and to the vendors who provided food and drink for those in attendance.

We had many join our organization today, pushing our membership numbers well over 250!  We welcome each and every one of you.  Thank you for joining us!

I hope you will be able to take in the Gathering Saturday.  We have another excellent lineup of speakers, the weather forecast looks like it will be much more tolerable than today and our spirits are flying high after a very successful day.  Drive and fly safely!
